Bottom Line

The Wacom Intuos Pro Pen Touch Tablet and Intuos Pro Large Case is an amazing buy for any creative professional who is looking to take their work to the next level or upgrade from their current pen and tablet.

With incredible sensitivity for precision, the Wacom Intuos Pro Pen Touch Tablet allows artists to create digital artwork with the accuracy of traditional materials.

The included Intuos Pro Large Case is extremely handy for taking your work on the move and the WiFi kit allows you to create whilst traveling without any cables or cords. This package also contains a stand for the pen and a digital eraser – making it easy to quickly fix any mistakes as you work.

Despite being on the more expensive end of the scale, the Wacom Intuos Pro Pen Touch Tablet and Intuos Pro Large Case is fantastic value-for-money for the quality and level of professionality it offers digital artists.

With so many different tablets and pens on the market, it can be difficult to know which one is right for you. The Wacom Intuos Pro Pen Touch Tablet and Intuos Pro Large Case is a great purchase for digital artists and designers.

In order to make an informed decision before you buy and know that you are spending your money wisely, it is important to look at the features and benefits of other, similar products that are available to purchase.

Two comparable tablet and pen sets are the Huion Micro USB Drawing Big Size Graphics Tablet with 8G SD Card and Rechargeable Pen – 1060 PLUS Upgraded Version Digital Pen Tablet (New 1060PLUS) and the Turcom TS-6580 Graphic Tablet Drawing Tablets and Pen/Stylus for PC, Mac Computer.

The smaller Huion Micro, which measures 10 x 6.25 inches, comes in at under $100.00 – making it much cheaper than the Wacom Intuos Pro Pen Touch Tablet and Intuos Pro Large Case – but it lacks many of the Wacom’s best features.

Despite offering the same 2048 Levels Pressure Sensitivity, the Huion Micro has a much smaller workable area, making it difficult to use for large scale designs and in collaborating with large screen monitors.

However, it is bigger than the Turcom TS-6580 which, at under $50, is the cheapest of the three, but only measures in at a small 8 x 5 inches. Neither can compare to the huge workable area that the Wacom Intuos offers designers.

All three tablets offer precision pens, but the Wacom Intuos appears to offer the most realistic representation of traditional artists’ tools, such as brushes and pencils.

Designed for Professionals

The Turcom TS-6580’s pen requires batteries, which can become a nuisance to replace if the tablet and pen are being used frequently. Both the Wacom Intuos Pro Pen and the Huion Pen are rechargeable, meaning that you don’t have to stop and start work to replace batteries.

While the other two tablets and pens are smaller and therefore lighter, the Wacom Intuos is also very portable – specifically thanks to the WiFi connection, which enables it to be used without the need for cords or cables.

It is also the only one out of the three that comes with a case that is purposely designed for ease and flexibility whilst traveling. If you’re looking for a similar tablet with wireless capabilities, read about the Huion Inspiroy Q11K Wireless Graphic Drawing Tablet.

The Wacom Intuos might be at the high end of the price scale for tablets and pens, but if you are a professional creative, serious designer, or planning on taking the quality of your work to the next level, it really is the best large-scale pen and tablet option on the market.

Plus, with the Pro Large Case and wireless connectivity, you can create your next digital masterpiece from home, the office, or anywhere in between.
